Professional Goals: My ultimate goal is to work towards transforming healthcare into preventative care. I would love to work as an internal medicine PA serving in rural areas, on medical missions trips, or as a psychiatric PA.

Healthcare Background: I worked full time for the past three years as a phlebotomist at Holland Hospital. Through this job I had the opportunity to gain experience in diverse settings such as an intensive care unit, outpatient lab, birthing center, and the emergency room. During this time I also volunteered as a ski patroller to provide outdoor emergency care.

Professional Goals: My goal is to become a compassionate & proficient PA-C. Currently, I am most enthusiastic about emergency medicine; but I am excited to explore other options during my clinical year.

Healthcare Background: During undergrad, I did volunteer work at Sparrow hospital and through the pre-PA club at MSU. After graduation, I worked as a Nursing Assistant for just over a year with residents who had dementia. I also did Medical Assistant work at a Cardiology office in Grand Rapids for about 6 months.

Professional Goals: My goal is to become a compassionate and highly skilled PA-C. I am very passionate about education, so I am drawn toward family medicine and obstetrics. However, I love the excitement and fast pace of the ER and trauma room and the complexity of cardiology, surgery, and internal medicine!
